From Asheville, NC:
Take 40 West to Exit #27 - US 19/74 West. Follow 74 West approximately 27 miles. Take Exit #74, Hwy 441 North to Cherokee. Keep going approximately 4 miles. Take a right at first traffic light. Harrah's Cherokee Casino is at next intersection.

From Atlanta, GA:
Take 85 North to 985 until you run into 441 North. At Dillsboro take 74 West and follow signs to Cherokee (Exit 74). Take 441 North to Cherokee for about 4 miles, take a right at first traffic light. Harrah´s Cherokee Casino is at the next intersection (about one mile) Approximate drive time: 3 hours.

A detour has been set up for travel on I-40 due to a rockslide near the Tennessee/North Carolina border. Motorists traveling eastbound on I-40, from Tennessee, should take I-81 North to Kingsport-Johnson City, then I-26 East to Asheville to get back to I-40 West.
